Moe’s Southwest Grill Opens New Opry Mills Mall Location with “Pay What You Want” Day

Popular fast-casual burrito joint opens March 7, Proceeds Benefit Boys and Girls Club of Middle Tennessee and the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation 

NASHVILLE, TN – (March 7, 2012) – “Welcome to Moe’s” will soon be heard in the Opry Mills Mall when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 433 Opry Mills Drive, on Thursday, March 7, 2013. The seventh location to open in Middle Tennessee, this Moe’s is celebrating its grand opening and giving back to the community with “Pay What You Want” day on Friday, March 8 where customers make a donation in any amount they choose in exchange for their meal. All proceeds collected will benefit the Middle Tennessee Boys and Girls Club and the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation. In addition, Moe’s will be giving away more than $1000 worth of gift cards and food items and on Saturday, March 9 and Sunday, March 10, sides of Moe’s famous Queso will be free.

All meals, including signature items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of over 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Moe’s Southwest Grill opened its first Middle Tennessee restaurant more than eight years ago in Cool Springs. That location, along with Spring Hill, Brentwood, Murfreesboro, Harding Road and West End in Nashville, makes the Opry Mills location franchise partner Scott Portis’ seventh Moe’s.

First 50 Guests Enjoy Free Burritos for a Year at Moe’s Grand Opening at Vanderbilt University

Nashville, TN (April 14, 2011) – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard throughout Vanderbilt’s campus when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 2525 West End Avenue on Thursday, April 14. Moe’s encourages guests to arrive early because the first 50 people in line on opening day will receive Free Burritos for a Year and the next 50 will get Free Burritos for Six Months.

“Knowing college students love Moe’s and are often low on cash, we wanted to open with a bang and offer the most diehard Moe’s fans free burritos,” says Portis. “It should be a ton of fun and we plan to maintain that sort of atmosphere in Nashville for years to come.”

The new Nashville Moe’s will have a Kid’s Eat Free night every Monday night from 4 p.m. to close with the purchase of an adult entrée over $6.00. The Vanderbilt University Student Meal card will be valid at this location.

Moe’s in Knoxville to Host Fundraiser for Tennessee Flood Victims

WHAT: Eating a delicious Moe’s Homewrecker isn’t just good for your appetite; it’s also helping those in need. Moe’s wants to do its part to assist the flood victims in the Nashville area, so the Moe’s Southwest Grill locations in Knoxville will be donating $1 from each Homewrecker sold to Tennessee Flood Victims and Hands On Nashville.
