Moe’s Southwest Grill Welcomes Paul Macaluso as Vice President of Marketing and Anissa Mandell as Senior Director of Supply Chain

– Fast-casual restaurant franchise adds top talent to high-performance team – 

ATLANTA, GA (October 24, 2011) Moe’s Southwest Grill announced today that it has added two key executives to the leadership team that will grow the brand to 850 locations by 2015. Paul Macaluso joins Moe’s as the vice president of marketing and Anissa Mandell as senior director of supply chain.

Macaluso joins Moe’s from Sonic Industries where he was the vice president of daypart and product marketing and innovation. Prior to that, Macaluso held various operations, franchise consulting and marketing positions with Burger King and YUM! Brands, Inc. Macaluso brings eighteen years of restaurant experience to his new role at Moe’s Southwest Grill. As vice president of marketing, Macaluso will lead Moe’s marketing department and will be responsible for developing short and long-term strategic marketing plans to drive brand awareness and sales.

Prior to joining Moe’s, Mandell was vice president of purchasing for Tappan Street Restaurant Group, Inc, parent company of casual-dining chain Taco Mac, where she created the company’s purchasing department. Collectively, she has twenty years of purchasing and operations experience from companies like RARE Hospitality and Rio Bravo International. As senior director of supply chain, she will be responsible for driving all aspects of the supply chain function including distribution, product and supplier sourcing, and other key supply chain programs.

Moe’s Southwest Grill Enfield Grand Opening

– Popular fast-casual burrito joint opens on October 13th-

Enfield, CT (October 4, 2011) – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard throughout Enfield when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 25 Hazard Avenue on Thursday, October 13. A Gold Award winner of the 2008 Consumer’s Choice in Chains Awards, Atlanta based Moe’s Southwest Grill’s serves fresh made-to-order burritos and southwest fare in a fun and laid back environment.

This Moe’s Southwest Grill will be the third for franchise owner, Bruce Steminsky, who plans to open more in the area.

“Enfield is an active community, and I think that the families and professionals here will embrace a refreshing new dining-out option that is simple, unique and delicious,” says Steminsky. “ I believe that the variety of fresh food options and laid-back atmosphere at Moe’s will suit the people here well.”

When you walk by Enfield’s newest burrito joint the first thing you’ll hear is a familiar “Welcome to Moe’s!” It’s more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal fresh to order right in front of the guest.

All meals, including signature items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of over 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Enfield’s Moe’s will offer Moe Monday: $6.75 for any burrito, chips and a drink all day every Monday. Tuesdays are Kid’s Eat Free Day from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. with the purchase of an adult entrée.
