Moe’s Southwest Grill Opening First Location in Columbus

Popular Fast-Casual Burrito Joint has 14 Total Restaurants Planned Through 2020

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Feb. 28, 2013 – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Columbus when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 1305 West Lane Ave. near the campus of The Ohio State University on Thursday, March 7. This is the first of 14 Moe’s restaurants that are planned in the Columbus market over the next eight years.

Franchise partner Clif Bullard is the first to sign a multi-unit deal in Columbus and has plans to quickly expand the thriving brand. The second location is slated to begin construction in April at Avery Square in Dublin. Bullard, who currently owns 20 Moe’s restaurants throughout North and South Carolina, is one of the restaurant chain’s largest franchise partners. He has been a restaurant franchisee since 1980 and in the Moe’s system since 2008, and his group owns a total of 48 restaurants across a variety of brands.

The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch-screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands – including more than 70 diet, low-calorie and 90 caffeine-free beverages, 80-plus unique brands offered nowhere else, and many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle, were not available in the U.S.

This location was closed for several months to relocate and renovate. In order to celebrate the completely refreshed store, the official grand re-opening is set for Wednesday, February 22nd. Fast-Casual Concept Signs Agreement, First Location Set for Moscow

Glaventer Investments, LTD will open 50 Moe’s locations in Russia over the next ten years, the first of which is scheduled to open in Moscow this year.
