Nashua, N.H. – [June 20, 2013] – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Nashua when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 256 Daniel Webster Hwy in the Webster Square shopping center on June 20. As a bonus, customers will be treated to $5 burritos with a free side of queso with any entrée purchase on opening weekend, June 21-23.

The Nashua location is locally owned and operated by franchise partner and Hollis resident Wally Vucich. Vucich, who holds the rights to four Moe’s territories and plans to open more locations in New Hampshire, was first exposed to Moe’s after a restaurant opened across the street from a Mobil station he owns in Waterford, Conn. He and his family immediately fell in love with the fresh food and engaging atmosphere, which ultimately led Vucich to bring Moe’s to Nashua.

“Moe’s has a growing presence across the U.S., and it’s time Nashua residents got a chance to try the delicious food and experience the fun atmosphere of our restaurants,” said Vucich. “We are thrilled to begin our expansion in Nashua and the surrounding communities.”

“Welcome to Moe’s!” is more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal fresh-to-order in front of every guest. All meals, including signature menu items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos, packed with a choice of over 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Guests can also try the new Coca-Cola Freestyle® soda fountain. The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch-screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands – including more than 70 diet or low-calorie and 90 caffeine-free beverages, 80-plus unique brands offered nowhere else, and many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle, were not available in the U.S.

In addition to the opening weekend deals, guests can enjoy weekly promotions such as “Moe Monday,” in which any burrito, chips and drink costs only $6.99, and on Tuesdays, kids eat free with the purchase of any adult entrée.

Moe’s Southwest Grill Opens Milestone 500th Restaurant

Fast Casual Mexican Franchise Leader Celebrates Opening with Nationwide Free Burrito Deal

ATLANTA – June 4, 2013 – Moe’s Southwest Grill®, a leader in the fast-casual Mexican space, is celebrating its 500th restaurant, with the newest Moe’s opening in New York City. Moe’s has reached the milestone in just over 10 years, averaging about one opening per week in that span.

To celebrate the 500th and to thank customers for their loyalty, all Moe’s restaurants nationwide will offer a free burrito with the purchase of a large drink from Tuesday, June 4 through Friday, June 7. Orders must be placed online or through Moe’s mobile app. Go to moes.com for the promo code and details on how to redeem.

“This really is an exciting time in our brand’s history, expanding across the country, entering new markets and opening our 500th location, with plans for at least another 50 this year,” said Moe’s Southwest Grill President Paul Damico. “We share this milestone and our successes with our dedicated franchise partners and their hardworking crew members, and of course with our loyal guests, who regularly enjoy their one-of-a-kind meals at Moe’s.”

The 500th restaurant at 367 3rd Ave. is Moe’s second Manhattan location, following the Midtown East opening in January; a third is slated to open later this summer. New York-based Group 51 was the first to sign a multi-unit deal in Manhattan, including these three locations, and has plans to quickly expand the thriving brand. The owners, both longtime New Yorkers, parlayed their experience in other business ventures into an agreement with Moe’s.

All meals, including signature items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of over 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
