Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand Offering Free Lunch for All and “All You Can Eat” Fundraising Dinner June 18
Doylestown, Penn. – June 18, 2014– “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Doylestown when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 73 Old Dublin Pike, Unit #5 in the Mercer Square Shopping Center on Thursday, June 19.
To celebrate the new restaurant, Moe’s will host two grand opening events on Wednesday, June 18, the day before the official opening date. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. that day, Moe’s invites all residents of Doylestown and surrounding communities to a VIP FREE lunch so they can become familiar with the menu. There are no restrictions on the free lunch.
Also on June 18, Moe’s will host an “all you can eat” fundraising dinner from 5 to 8 p.m. As the name implies, guests can eat all the fresh and delicious food they want for only $10. Moe’s will donate all proceeds to Central Bucks Family YMCA. The donation will fund a youth mission trip, which will travel to Lima, Peru, this summer. In partnership with the YMCA Peru, the youth will be volunteering at a local hospital, a special needs orphanage, building and painting in impoverished areas and working hands-on in a local YMCA summer camp.
On opening day, Thursday, June 19, the new Moe’s in Doylestown will entertain guests with prizes and giveaways. Guests can spin a prize wheel anytime Thursday to win instant prizes. Thursday through Sunday, they can register to win giveaways. Moe’s has joined up with HighRoad Cycles, voted one of America’s best bike shops, to give away an Electra Verse bike. Other prizes include Moe’s for a year, a Kindle Fire and Amazon gift cards.
The new Moe’s is owned and operated by the franchise group Philmore Southwest, LLC, led by Jeff Coghlan and Jim O’Brien. Coghlan and his partners also own and operate Wendy’s restaurants throughout the country.
Philmore Southwest, LLC, decided to open a Moe’s restaurant because of the fresh food and the brand’s fun culture, which they wanted to share with the residents of Doylestown. “We anticipate opening several more Moe’s throughout the area,” said O’Brien.
“Residents in nearby towns have really shown their demand for Moe’s, and we believe Doylestown deserves a Moe’s restaurant of its own,” said Coghlan. “We are confident the Doylestown community will embrace the fresh, made-to-order food, warm ‘Welcome to Moe’s!’ greetings and upbeat atmosphere.”
“Welcome to Moe’s!” is more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal made fresh-to-order in front of every guest. All meals, including signature menu items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of more than 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options.
Guests can also try the new Coca-Cola Freestyle® soda fountain. The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch-screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands – including more than 70 diet or low-calorie and 90 caffeine-free beverages, 80-plus unique brands offered nowhere else, and many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle, were not available in the U.S.
