Last year we raised $20,000 on Free Burrito Day for JDRF, and this year we hope to significantly exceed that contribution.”

The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for diabetes and its complications through the support of research. Since its founding in 1970 by parents of children with type 1 diabetes, JDRF has awarded more than $1.4 billion to diabetes research.

“We work everyday to find a cure for type-1 diabetes and great partners like Moe’s Southwest Grill help us get a step closer to reaching our goal,” explains Valerie Balser, JDRF Corporate Development Coordinator.
