AUBURN, N.Y. – July 11, 2013 – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Auburn, when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens its first location in the area at 217 Grant Avenue in Auburn Plaza on July 18. As a bonus, the first 50 customers will be treated to a free t-shirt on opening day. In addition, the following 100 customers will be entered to win one free burrito with a drink per week for the rest of the year. This is the second Moe’s Southwest Grill location opened under M2R Management within the past year; they also have a location in Watertown, N.Y. and are looking forward to expanding further into the Central New York market.

The Nashua location is locally owned and operated by franchise partner and Hollis resident Wally Vucich. He and his family immediately fell in love with the fresh food and engaging atmosphere, which ultimately led Vucich to bring Moe’s to Nashua.

The restaurant is part of a 25-store deal signed by St. Joseph restaurateur Joyce Lunsford. In January 2012, Lunsford signed an agreement that will bring 25 new restaurants – and hundreds of jobs – to Michigan, Indiana and Ohio by 2020. She will operate the restaurants with business partner and local resident Greg Molter. As part of the development agreement, new Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurants will also open throughout Michigan in Battle Creek, Holland, Kalamazoo, Muskegon, Midland, Mt.
