Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand Offering Chance to Win Free Burritos for a Year*
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – June 4, 2015 – “Welcome to Moe’s!®” will soon be heard on the streets of Alexandria when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 7869 Heneska Loop in the Hilltop Village Center on Thursday, June 11.
To celebrate the grand opening, the new Moe’s invites guests to ‘Pay What You Want’ for their meal on June 11, with 100 percent of the day’s net sales benefitting Hayfield Secondary School and Edison High School. Additionally, the first 50 guests through the door will win free burritos for one year*. The new location will be joining the existing Moe’s in Alexandria located at 7698 Richmond Highway 40, in the Mount Vernon Plaza Shopping Center.
“We have seen a strong following develop around Moe’s in the area, and believe Alexandria residents will be no exception,” said franchisee Brad Chasteen, who owns additional Moe’s Southwest Grill restaurants in the area with partners Steve Taylor and Frank Maresca. “I look forward to opening our doors to the Alexandria community and offering guests our fresh, made-to-order food.”
On Sunday, June 14, Moe’s of Alexandria will donate 40 percent of the day’s net sales to Lee High School. The restaurant will also help kick-off summer vacation on Friday, June 19, by offering one free burrito to students of all levels who present a valid student ID from any area school.
There are three things Moe’s newbies should know: the crew will say, “Welcome to Moe’s!” when you walk in the door (don’t be jolted – it’s normal), the most popular burrito is lovingly called the Homewrecker, and Moe’s Famous Queso is famous for a reason.
Each meal is created-to-order in a way that is as unique as the people Moe’s serves. With honestly good ingredients like all-natural chicken, grass-fed steak, organic tofu and handcrafted guacamole, Moe’s offers a wide variety of options to meet guests’ unique tastes and lifestyle. And no matter the meal, guests can always count on getting free chips and salsa.
And whether you’re hosting a party, business function or wedding, or you’re tailgating before a big game, Moe’s catering has you covered. Moe’s offers one-of-a-kind caterings filled with flavorful options that please even the pickiest of eaters (vegetarian, gluten-sensitive, lower calorie). Moe’s of Alexandria will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days a week. For more information, call 703-348-9681 or visit www.moes.com.
