Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand Offering $5 Burritos
Gretna, La. – October 6, 2014 – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Gretna when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 91 West Bank Expressway on Thursday, October 9. To celebrate the grand opening, Moe’s will treat guests to $5 burritos from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.. The Moe’s street team will also be handing out Buy One Get One Free certificates throughout the day on October 7, 8 and 9, valid for any entrée on the menu.
The Gretna location marks the fourth in Louisiana and is owned and operated by franchisee Brad DeRoche. DeRoche opened his first Moe’s Southwest Grill in 2012 in Houma, La. and also owns a location in Metairie. Additional growth plans for DeRoche include a fourth Moe’s slated to open this November in Lafayette, as well as future locations expected in Baton Rouge and New Orleans.
“I have seen a strong following develop around the Moe’s concept in Louisiana and I believe the residents of Gretna will prove to be no exception,” said DeRoche. “I am excited to bring our fresh, made-to-order food and family-friendly atmosphere to the Gretna community.”
“Welcome to Moe’s!” is more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal made fresh-to-order in front of every guest. All meals, including signature menu items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of more than 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features options for kids, vegetarians, vegans and those with a gluten sensitivity.
Guests can also try the new Coca-Cola Freestyle® soda fountain.
