Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand to Host Grand Opening Events for Local Colleges and Schools
King of Prussia, Pa. – July 16, 2015 – “Welcome to Moe’s!®” will soon be heard on the streets of King of Prussia, Pa. when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens its doors at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 24 at 340 W. Dekalb Pike in the Dekalb Plaza. To celebrate the opening of the new restaurant, Moe’s will host two pre-opening events on Wednesday, July 22 and Thursday, July 23.
On Wednesday, July 22, the King of Prussia Moe’s will host an All You Can Eat fundraising dinner from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. As the name implies, guests can eat all the fresh and delicious Moe’s food they want for only $10. As part of its commitment to supporting the community, the King of Prussia Moe’s has selected Angel Flight East as the recipient of one hundred percent of the net sales from the fundraiser. Angel Flight East is a nonprofit organization that provides free air transportation for children and adults with medical conditions who need treatment far from home.
On Thursday, July 23, the attention to community spirit and giving shifts to the King of Prussia community as a whole. From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the King of Prussia Moe’s will host a special College and Community V.I.P. Party for all residents within the region as well as all students, alumni, faculty and staff of all area colleges and community colleges, including all local college students home for the summer. The first 75 customers through the door will receive free Moe’s burritos for a year* and all guests will receive a free Moe’s lunch**. In addition, free Moe’s spirit t-shirts will be given to the first 500 customers in line for the V.I.P. Party.
Later that evening from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., the King of Prussia Moe’s will host another $10 All You Can Eat pre-opening fundraiser event to support the Upper Merion Area School District with 100 percent of the net sales benefitting local schools. The public is invited to join the King of Prussia Moe’s in supporting the schools in the area by attending the pre-opening fundraisers.
“We look forward to giving back to the local schools that are such an integral part of the community,” said co-owner Jim O’Brien.
The new King of Prussia Moe’s is owned and operated by the franchise group Philmore Southwest, LLC, led by Jeff Coghlan and O’Brien. This will be Philmore Southwest, LLC’s fourth Moe’s location in the region.
* Each winner will receive one (1) card (the “Prize Card”) which will entitle the winner to one (1) burrito per week, for fifty two (52) consecutive weeks, beginning on the date Sponsor awards the Prize Card to the winner; Prize Cards are valid only at the Awarding Restaurant and will not be accepted at other Moe’s Southwest Grill® locations.
** The free Moe’s lunch will include one free entrée and drink per customer, while supplies last.
