Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand Offers an “All You Can Eat” VIP Fundraising Dinner to benefit Mentor High School Nov. 19 and Free Moe’s For A Year to the First 50 Customers On Nov. 20
Mentor, Ohio – November 11, 2014 – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Mentor, Ohio when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 9710 Mentor Avenue in Mentor on Thursday November 20th. Unlike other restaurants that may come into a community, Moe’s in Mentor is ushering in a new age of flavor in a big way for community residents.
On November 19, Moe’s will host a pre-opening all you can eat fundraiser from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests can create their one of a kind meals for only $10. As part of its commitment to helping the community, Moe’s is donating 100 percent of the proceeds to Mentor High School Athletics. Tickets are $10 and will be sold by the local high school prior to the event and at the door until they are sold out. Guests can also enter to win instant prizes like game tickets and Moe’s food items with a $1 donation to Mentor High School Athletics.
“To have a group like Moe’s Southwest Grill generously provide a charity fundraiser for us before they even open their doors and make a dime really means a lot to our school and our kids,” said Jeff Cassella, athletic director of Mentor High School. “Moe’s exemplifies our mission and we look forward to embracing them as a valued member of our community.”
On the day of the grand opening, Moe’s will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Mentor Area Chamber of Commerce at 10:30 a.m. and will also treat the first 50 guests in line to FREE burritos for a year. Recent openings featuring free burritos for a year have found excited patrons camping out overnight for their chance at the promotional offer.
The new Moe’s in Mentor is owned and operated by Paul Giggi, Tom O’Hare and Ryan O’Hare, an area resident. This will be the group’s first Moe’s in the area, however they have plans to build and open several more Moe’s in the region over the next couple of years.
“Welcome to Moe’s!” is more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal made fresh-to-order in front of every guest. All meals, including signature menu items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos packed with a choice of more than 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-friendly options.
Moe’s also offers one-of-a-kind caterings filled with flavorful options that please even the pickiest of eaters (vegetarian, gluten-free, lower calorie). Whether you’re hosting a party, business function or wedding, or you’re tailgating before a big game, Moe’s fresh, customizable catering options are the perfect addition.
Moe’s in Mentor will be open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. For more information, guests may call (440) 579-5115 or visit www.moes.com.
