Myrtle Beach, SC (April 9, 2014) Moe’s Southwest Grill, the restaurant franchise that serves southwest fare, is coming to Myrtle Beach, SC with a special grand opening fundraiser on Wednesday, April 9 and officially opening for regular business on Thursday, April 10. The new Moe’s will be located in the Sayebrook Town Center at 181 Brookton Circle Unit 3.
To celebrate the grand opening of Moe’s Southwest Grill, franchise owner Clif Bullard and manager Gary Wargo will be opening the doors early from 3:30 – 8 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9 for a special “rivalry” fundraiser for two local high schools. During this time,St. James High school’s time slot will be from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. and Socastee High School’s time slot will be from 6 – 8 p.m. It it will be $10 all you can eat for all those who come on the 9th with 100 percent of the proceeds from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. going to St. James High school and from 6 – 8 p.m. going to Socastee High Schoolgoing to each high school in that time slot. The school rivalry fundraiser is will be open to the public, the media, and most importantly, students, staff, and alumni of each high school who will battle to raise more money than the other. The high school that raises has the most money raised for their school will win a special bonus on top of the proceeds raised from the event.

It shows a true commitment to community. We look forward to seeing the turn out from our students, staff and the community as well as seeing the competition St. James brings to the table,” commented Dr. Browning, principal of Socastee High School.

We’re very excited to be competing with our fellow rival and anticipate good support from our students, parents, staff, alumni, and other residents to raise money for our schools,” commented Mr. Pennell, principal of St. James High School.
Moe’s Southwest Grill will open its doors for regular business on Thursday, April 10th at 11 a.m. There will be radio remotes, the Moe’s prize wheel with additional giveaways and, of course, lots of great Moe’s food to enjoy with $3 burritos all day for the grand opening.
