HAMPTON BAYS, N.Y. – Sept. 24, 2013 – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Hampton Bays when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 250 West Montauk Hwy. on Thursday, Sept. 26, near Wild By Nature. This is the very first Moe’s on eastern Long Island and the second from local franchise partners Guy and Liz Constantopoulos. A raffle will be conducted for free gift cards on opening day and guests will be treated to free giveaways during the entire first weekend of operation.
The business partners, married 30 years, are native Long Islanders who were born and raised in Hampton Bays. Guy has been in the franchise industry for 37 years, and Liz joined him soon thereafter. They opened their first Moe’s restaurant together in Rocky Point in June 2012, and they also own three 7-Eleven convenience stores in the area. The new 2,700 square foot Moe’s restaurant, which also features four flat-screen TVs, will seat 60 guests and employ 12-15 local residents.
“Moe’s has a growing presence across Long Island and it’s time Hampton Bays residents got a chance to try the delicious food and experience the fun atmosphere of our restaurants,” said Liz Constantopoulos. “Hampton Bays is an in-demand market for which we both have a great deal of affinity.”
“Welcome to Moe’s!” is more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal fresh-to-order in front of every guest. All meals, including signature menu items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos, packed with a choice of more than 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Guests can also try the new Coca-Cola Freestyle® soda fountain. The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch-screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands – including more than 70 diet or low-calorie and 90 caffeine-free beverages, 80-plus unique brands offered nowhere else, and many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle, were not available in the U.S.
Ranked No. 1 in the Fast Casual Mexican Category by Entrepreneur in 2011, Atlanta-based Moe’s Southwest Grill serves fresh, made-to-order burritos and southwest fare in a fun and laid-back environment. Moe’s in Hampton Bays will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, guests may call 631-594-5413 or visit www.moes.com.
