Leading Southwest Fast-Casual Brand Coming August 8, 2013
WALLINGFORD, Conn. – July 30, 2013 – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard on the streets of Wallingford when Moe’s Southwest Grill® opens at 970 N. Colony Road on Thursday, August 8.
The new restaurant is co-owned and operated by Franchise Partners Bruce Steminsky, David Thuermer and Craig Shamlian. The franchise group opened their first Moe’s restaurant in Fairfield in 2010, and now own six locations throughout the region. These entrepreneurs plan to open nine additional Moe’s locations over the next three years.
“We are really excited to bring Moe’s Southwest Grill to Wallingford! At Moe’s, we serve fresh, high-quality ingredients in a fun-filled, energetic atmosphere,” said Steminsky. “Through our local charity support program, we look forward to becoming an integral part of the community and believe Moe’s will become the fresh, new favorite in town.”
“Welcome to Moe’s!” is more than a greeting; it’s a way of life for the folks who customize each meal fresh-to-order in front of every guest. All meals, including signature menu items like the Homewrecker burrito, Close Talker salad and John Coctostan quesadilla, are served with free chips and salsa. While Moe’s is best known for its burritos, packed with a choice of more than 20 fresh ingredients, the menu also features kid’s, vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.
Guests can also try the new Coca-Cola Freestyle® soda fountain. The sleek, stylish new fountains are touch-screen operated, enabling consumers to select from more than 100 regular and low-calorie beverage brands – including more than 70 diet or low-calorie and 90 caffeine-free beverages, 80-plus unique brands offered nowhere else, and many varieties of waters, sports drinks, lemonades and sparkling beverages that, prior to the arrival of Coca-Cola Freestyle, were not available in the U.S.
