Moe’s Southwest Grill Supports Meatless Monday with Delicious Vegetarian and Flexitarian Menu Options

ATLANTA– February 3, 2011 – In the spirit of Oprah announcing this week that Monday’s at Harpo Productions are now meatless, Moe’s Southwest Grill doesn’t want the rest of us to feel left out! The fun and fast-casual restaurant supports Meatless Monday with its commitment to flexible, healthier menu options.  

The latest studies show that at least 7.3 million Americans are vegetarians and another 22.8 million are part-time vegetarians who like to change it up. At Moe’s, we don’t ask. Instead we offer it all, so all diets are equally satisfied.   

For vegetarians, the days of eating nothing more than rice and lettuce are over.   1. I’m always looking for new ways to get a healthy and satisfying vegan meal on the go. For the first time in months, I stopped in at my local Moe’s. I noticed the menu enhancements right away. It felt like the whole place had a face lift! Even though a lot of the options have been on the menu for some time, they are now more prominent and it seems much more veg-friendly. Looking forward to going back again soon :)

  2. As a Vegetarian for 20 years, I’m pleased that more & more restaurants are offering veg. options. a side salad was about the only choice a decade ago.
    Thank you Moe’s for the Art Vandalay, It’s so good that I haven’t tried the other options. Thanks for undrstanding that using a separate grill for veggies is a big deal to us vegetarian and we appreciate all the conscious efforts that Moe’s takes to ensure that our food is kept out of contact with the meats/poultry.
