Macon, GA (April 24, 2014) – “Welcome to Moe’s!” will soon be heard throughout Macon when Moe’s Southwest Grill opens at 6255 Zebulon Road, Suite 260 on Thursday, April 24. The new location will celebrate its grand opening by treating their loyal customers to a $10 fixed price day for any burrito, side and a drink on the following Saturday, April 26, with all proceeds benefiting local nonprofits: 50% to Jay’s HOPE and 50% to Central Georgia C.A.R.E.S.
“We are so excited to open our doors and become a bigger part of this community that we decided we couldn’t choose just one local organization to support,” said Franchise Partner, Ray Yarbrough. “Both Jay’s HOPE and Central Georgia C.A.R.E.S have such an impact on the Macon community; we hope everyone will come out on Saturday to enjoy our fresh, made-to-order meals and show support for these two wonderful organizations.”
The offer lasts all day on April 26 and half of the donations collected will benefit Jay’s HOPE, a nonprofit organization that helps improve the quality of life of children with cancer and their families through social, emotional, spiritual, educational and financial support. The other half of the donations will benefit Central Georgia C.A.R.E.S, a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to helping homeless animals, eliminate euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets, promoting spay/neuter, eliminating animal cruelty and abuse and promoting humane education.
